About us
Jaguar Experience Private Tours (CNPJ 62.712.853/0001-03), a travel agency based in Mato Grosso, Brazil, is the controller of the personal data processed on this website, under the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (Law 13,709/2018, the LGPD).
What data we collect
We only collect what we need to organize your trip:
- Quote request: name, phone or WhatsApp, email, destination, number of people, travel month and your message.
- Sign-in: when you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email and account photo.
- Traveler profile: date of birth, country, city, WhatsApp, languages, interests, animals you want to see, favorite color, introduction, photo (optional) and emergency contact.
- Health and meals: dietary restrictions, allergies and health conditions, only if you tick the specific consent for it.
- Reviews you write.
- Feedback (praise, suggestions and complaints): your message and, if you wish, your name and contact details.
How we use it
- Answering quote requests and planning your trip.
- Booking hotels, tours, transfers, guides and drivers.
- Looking after your safety and comfort during the trip (meals, allergies and emergency contact).
- Showing other members of your group the information you have authorized.
- Publishing your review, if you send one and it is approved.
- Meeting legal and tax obligations.
We do not sell your data and we do not send marketing unless you ask for it.
Who we share it with
Only with those who need the data to make your trip happen: the hotels and lodges, guides, drivers and boatmen on your itinerary. They only receive what is necessary (for example, your name, a dietary restriction or an allergy).
We also use companies that store and process data on our behalf: Supabase (database), Netlify (website hosting), Google (sign-in), DeepL (automatic translation of texts published on the website) and the services that alert us to new requests by WhatsApp or email. Some of these servers are outside Brazil; in those cases, the transfer follows the LGPD rules.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while you keep your profile, or for as long as it is needed for the trip and for legal obligations. You can delete your profile at any time.
Your rights
You can, at any time:
- find out what data we hold about you and ask for a copy;
- correct incomplete or outdated data;
- withdraw a consent, such as the one for health data;
- delete your profile, your photo and your requests.
In My account you can edit or delete your profile yourself. For any other request, contact us on WhatsApp at +55 65 99647-5735.
Cookies and browser storage
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. The website only stores what it needs to work in your browser: your sign-in session and the day’s dollar exchange rate.
Minors
Group trips and traveler profiles are for people aged 18 or over. Information about children traveling with their family is provided by their parents or guardians only in the quote request.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the website changes. The current version is always on this page.
